Ellen comes from a line of folks who have worked with their hands in a variety of ways--garment makers, bakers, carpenters, visual artists.

In addition to small works on paper, hand made soaps, et cetera, she has created a tiny collection of traditional quilts. Hand-pieced and hand-quilted, Her Starry Fays took a slow 400 hours to complete--give or take.
